DESCRIPTION:
This spectacular trip will combine the skiing in the well
known area of Refugio Frey, some of the active volcanoes in
the Lake District and the wonderful hot springs.
Location: Argentina and Chilean Patagonia Lake District. 2
days skiing in Frey and we also will climb the volcanoes:
Lanin, Llaima and Lonquimay
Difficulty: intermediate, we will be skiing up hill between
4 to 7 hours.
Duration: 10 Days

Prerequisite: Good physical condition. Intermediate to experienced
skiers, previous Crampon experience is not necessary.

ITINERARY:
Day 1: Domestic flight to Bariloche from Buenos Aires,
night in Hotel.
Day 2: Ascent to Frey, an area of Granite spires and great
couloirs for skiing.
Day 3: Second day of skiing couloirs in Frey.
Day 4: Descent from Frey to Bariloche, night in Hotel.
Day 5: Drive to the Base of Lanin Volcano 3776 m (Argentina)
and climb to the mountain hut.
Day 6: Climb to the summit of Lanin and ski down 2500 meters.
Day 7: Drive from the base, crossing to Chile to Malalcahuello
town, night in hotel.
Day 8: Climb Llaima Volcano or villarrica, night in hotel.
Day 9: Climb Lonquimay Volcano, night in hotel.
Day 10: Return to Bariloche.
