Our staff is made up of mountaineers from many different places letting us the possibility to have local guides wherever the expedition or mountain activity takes place.
  
We know that the success of any expedition largely depends on the performance of the guide. Because of this, we particularly value our guide’s superior technical competence, their leadership and their problem solving skills.

Combining passion and work, our guides are active mountaineers that make use of the whole World in order to perfect their language skills, mountaineering and rescue techniques, continually working towards professional excellence and personal enrichment.

Our guides are supported by UIAGM / IFMGA (International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations) guaranteeing the highest level of service and assuring success in each of the activities that we offer.

Eduardo Depetris (Director)

Born in Mendoza, Argentina, Eduardo is the Director of Nasqa Expeditions. Since he was very young, Eduardo has dedicated himself to mountaineering and to his own professional development.

He is a UIAGM/IFMGA full Guide and a Rock, Ice and Mountaineering Instructor with 15 years experience and 21 summits of Aconcagua (his first ascent at only 15 years of age).

He is highly skilled in all disciplines of mountaineering and climbing. Among his accomplishments, Eduardo has stood on the summit of more than twenty-five 6000m/20.000ft peaks in Argentina, Bolivia and Peru, climbed difficult alpine rock and ice in Patagonia, sport climbed 8a+ (5.13c), climbed big walls in Yosemite (Mescalito) and ski mountaineering in Argentina.

His enthusiasm and love of the sport has brought him to climb and work as a Guide in Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, USA, Canada, Mexico, Spain, France, Italy and Switzerland.

Eduardo speaks Spanish and English.

Mauricio Fernández

Born in Mendoza, Argentina, Mauricio has more than 19 years experience in the mountains.

He speaks Spanish and English.

He specializes in physical education and guided expeditions.

On both on his personal and professional career, he has combined the following:

  • 27 times on the summit of Aconcagua with more than 60 clients to the summit
  • Numerous guided expeditions in Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia and Argentina
  • Summitted Mt. Cho Oyu, 8201m/26.906 ft , Himalaya
  • Summitted Mt. Fitz Roy, Patagonia Argentina
  • Climbed in the Alps, Europe and Yosemite, USA.
  • First complete ascent of the Southeast Ridge on Aconcagua
  • First winter ascent of Mercendario 6 770m /22.291 ft in the Central Andes
  • AAGM Mountain Guide Instructor for the UIAGM Argentina Program
  • Rock and Ice climbing instructor

Pere Vilarasau

Born in Barcelona, Spain, Pere has spent the last 9 years working as a High Mountain Guide in Aconcagua, Bolivia, Peru, and in the Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia. He has worked as a rock climbing guide in Red Rocks, Nevada (USA), in the Pyrenees (Spain/France) and the Alps.

He is a member of the Spanish High Mountain Group (GAME) and is a European The North Face team member.

Pere has 14 years experience climbing around the world in Europe, Canada, Yosemite, Mexico, Peru, Brazil, Bolivia, Argentina and Chile. 
He is a rock and ice climbing instructor who possesses much experience in all of climbing disciplines: rock, ice, alpine, aid, ski mountaineering and rescue. He speaks Spanish, Catalan and English.

Manuel Quiroga

Manuel has been guiding since 1997 in Patagonia, US and Canada. Now he lives in El Chaltén, Patagonia Argentina, where he works and enjoys an amazing backyard.

His climbing goals took him to the Bugaboos, Banff Park, Squamish, Chile and Bolivia. In his well-known Patagonia as he has climbed Mermoz, Guillaumet, Media Luna and Rafael spikes and has done several trips to the Ice Cap.

Manuel speaks Spanish, English and French.

Jorge Kozulj

Jorge lives in Bariloche, Patagonia Argentina, besides being a High Mountain Guide, he is a Ski Patrol EASP (Argentinean School of Ski Patrols). With more than 9 years of mountain experience, he has climbed in Southern Patagonia (Saint Exupery spike), in the Dolomites (Italy), Eastern Europe, USA and in the Canadian Rockies.



He has worked as a guide in the Perito Moreno Glacier and done numerous Ski guidings including heliski in Patagonia. He is a member of the local rescue team in Bariloche.

Juan Pablo Villagra

Juan lives in Bozeman, Montana, where he works full time guiding rock and ice. In the last ten years, he has guided and climbed extensively throughout, Patagonia, Brazil, Spain and the United States.He did first ascents in the central Andes as well as many solo ascents like Mt. Cuerno's Southwest face in Aconcagua's area; Grand Teton’s Exum and Petzoldt routes and El Capitan's The Nose.

He has traveled the Rockies while ice climbing, doing several routes up to the WI6 grade. He climbed Half Dome in a day and made an attempt to Fitz Roy climbing the Supercanaleta. To date, Juan has guided 13 expeditions in Aconcagua via three different routes. Juan also guides for Montana Alpine Guides. He speaks Spanish and English.

Tatiana Niveyro

Tatiana is an energetic mountaineer, climber and skier. Her climbing/working experience in the Cordillera Real, Bolivia, in the Cordillera Blanca, Peru, Chilean and Argentinean Patagonia and in the USA led her to specialize and become a Mountain guide.

She has climbed more than 15 peaks over 6000m / 20000ft and already summitted Mt. Aconcagua 7 times.

She does logistics, organization and assistance for the expeditions. She is a Forestry Engineer and a Trekking Guide AAGM. She speaks Spanish, English, French and a little German. She lives in Patagonia Argentina.
