Booking & General Conditions return

Booking:
Thank you for trusting and joining Nasqa Expeditions. Read the general conditions carefully and the specific requirements to the expedition that you are hiring and then, complete the booking form.

General Conditions:

  • All the prices in our web page are in American dollars (U$D).
  • For any type of booking, you will have to make a previous deposit of 20 % of the stipulated value and will have to cancel the rest of the payment before the beginning of the expedition, course or programmed activity.
  • Payment of the booking deposit: it can be done by bank transfer or credit card.
  • Cancellations: if you decide to cancel your booking and you notify us at least 60 days before the beginning, Nasqa Expeditions will le reimburse you 100% of you deposit. If  you cancel from the day 0 to the day 59 before the start of the activity Nasqa Expeditions will keep the deposit and you will be able to use it for any other Nasqa Expeditions trip or mountain activity within one year.
  • Our expeditions with fixed dates have all been designed for a minimum of 3 people and a maximum of 12, so as to obtain a better price and guaranteeing a best quality service. If the number of confirmed reservations 10 days before the start of the activity is less than stipulated, Nasqa Expeditions will notify every client. If you wish to pursue with the expedition, we will make a new budget accordingly. On the contrary, Nasqa Expeditions will reimburse you 100% of your deposit.
  • Reimbursements: No total or partial reimbursements will be done to those that abandon the expedition, or in the case of not having used the included services such as hotel rooms, meals, etc.
  • Expedition abandon: if because of illness or any other particular reason you abandon the expedition, the extra expenses will be on your account, whether they are extra nights in the hotel, medical expenses, etc.
  • Health: It is not obligatory to present a physical aptitude certification but, (as your health is of vital importance to us) we recommend you to have general medical check before initiating the trip.
  • Age: only for Aconcagua see requisites.
  • Visas: you are responsible of finding about and obtaining the visa, if necessary to enter the country where the expedition takes place. Some visas need to be done 2 or 3 months before the trip. Please contact us if you need any information.
  • Travel insurance: it is not obligatory to hire travel insurance but we recommend you to get one.
  •  Hotels: the Hotels are included according to the expedition and where it takes places. Usually they are 4 stars in double or triple rooms. If you prefer a single room, let us know in advance. This has an additional cost. (Except in exclusive expeditions where you will orient us about categories, etc).
  • Nasqa Expeditions reserves the right to suspend the expedition of any person that does not count with the basic requirements (clothes or safety measures) and that because of this, constitute a risk for their lives or the group.
  • As we count with experienced and competent staff, Nasqa Expeditions reserves the right to give the Guide the decision making power to evaluate the psychophysical aptitude of every participant and decide who is capable of continuing and who is not. In the case that a participant was in not in good condition, a Guide or Assistant Guide will be in charge of going back with him.

Exclusives trips:

  • The exclusive trip prices will be associated to what is agreed with you in regards to hotel and restaurant categories, starting and ending dates of the expedition, etc.

Aconcagua conditions:

  • Permit to enter Aconcagua Provincial Park: to enter the park, a permit must be obtained personally in Mendoza city, Nasqa Expeditions will assist you, but the cost of it is on your account.
  • Age: According to the rules dictated by the Park legislation, people less than 14 years old is not allowed to enter Aconcagua Provincial Park. If you are over 14 but minor in your country of residence, you need to present an authorization from both parents, certified by legal authority.
